The In Between table mirror is made from bent stainless steel, giving it a simple yet distinctive form. The object emerged from an exploration of unexpected material combinations, where delicate lace details contrast with the cool precision of steel. The interplay of light and shadow accentuates the geometry of the form and its subtle details.
The design draws inspiration from the traditional technique of finishing cushions with rounded piping. In a playful reinterpretation of this detail, soft surfaces are replaced by planes of steel, while the decorative, tactile lace piping remains delicately suspended between them. This subtle intervention transforms a familiar decorative element into an integral part of the object’s structure and appearance.
The mirror was selected by the editorial team at ELLE Decoration UK and featured in the July/August 2026 issue. It was also presented as part of an exhibition during Milan Design Week. The object is made entirely in Poland, with production based locally in Lower Silesia.
The mirror is part of the In Between collection, which also includes a side table and a table lamp.
